Spotlight: Rev. Linda Taylor and Unity of Roanoke Valley

Welcome to Reverend Linda Taylor of Unity of Roanoke Valley, the newest member of the Program Leaders Support Community!

Unity of Roanoke Valley came together about 45 years ago and remains a vibrant, transitional sized church (175 weekly average).

They are launching SpiritGroups as a vital tool to foster deeper connection within their community.  They are launching their initial SpiritGroups the week of April 23rd with 7 groups.

According to Rev. Linda, "We love the idea of healthy, balanced groups and are especially excited about the service component."

All of the groups will be studying "Hell in the Hallway, Light at the Door" by Ellen Debenport which will also be their Sunday series.  They are also launching a newcomer group that will focus on the Five Principles.

Rev. Linda has served Unity of Roanoke for 6 years in which time she has worked with the community on healing, shifting to a mission-centric model and completing a major building renovation/expansion project.

Rev. Linda reports, "We are healthy and balanced in the physical, emotional and organizational realms - ready to take off to greater spiritual heights."

The ministry's current focus statement is "Inspiring personal transformation by expressing God's love in the world."

Welcome aboard, Rev. Linda, and our new SpiritGroups family in Roanoke!
